Current Management Guidelines
Current management guidelines – such as those produced by the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE)1 and the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD)2 – emphasise the need for regular and effective patient monitoring and assessment. The CAT has been developed in line with the goals of these guidelines, with the aim of making these tasks easier and less time-consuming.
